Privacy policy
How Vibe96 collects, uses and protects your personal data — in plain language.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Who we are
- Vibe96 is a project of Royex Technologies LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Royex”, “we”, “us”), which owns and operates it. We decide how your personal data is used on vibe96.com and are responsible for it.
- When we host or deploy a project for you, we process the personal data of that project’s users on your behalf, as your processor, under our Hosting, Deployment and Human-Support Terms. This policy does not cover that data; the project owner’s privacy policy does.
- Questions or requests about your data: support@vibe96.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), country and, for builders, public profile details, company and tax details.
- Purchases and payouts: what you bought, invoices and order history. Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Builders’ payout details (such as bank or Wise information) are stored encrypted.
- What you send us: support tickets, messages to builders, service and project requests, deployment information you provide, and files you upload (source code, screenshots, documents).
- How you use the site: searches, pages and projects viewed, favourites and comparisons, device and browser information, IP address and approximate location, collected through server logs and essential cookies.
- Live demos you open from Vibe96: when and for how long, whether you pressed Buy now and, if the builder added our demo script, the pages you opened in the demo and whether you signed in to it. We never record what you type in a demo.
- When you chat with Vee, we note which industries and projects you ask about — not your words — to choose what to show you first.
- Servers you connect: if you use deployment, the server monitor, the File manager or Vibe Studio, we receive technical data from that server, such as health readings, file names and the code you choose to work on.
How we use it
- To run your account and the marketplace: sign-in, purchases, licences, downloads, updates, support and payouts.
- To review projects before they are listed, including automated code audits.
- To understand how people find and choose software: when you sign in, visits made earlier in the same browser are connected to your account. Builders only see totals for their own demos, never who you are.
- To answer you, keep you informed about your orders, tickets and requests, and send service emails you cannot opt out of while you have an account.
- To improve search and understand what buyers look for — for example, grouping project requests by topic. Builders only ever see anonymised topics and counts.
- To keep the platform safe: preventing fraud, spam and abuse, and meeting our legal and tax obligations.
- Marketing emails only with your consent; every one has an unsubscribe link.
- Alerts you ask for: if you tick them on Account → Email preferences, we email you when a project you saved gets cheaper or releases a new version, and once after you leave something in your bag. You can turn each one off there.
AI features
- Some features use AI models provided by Anthropic: search interpretation, the support chat, code audits, listing drafts and Vibe Studio.
- The text, code and files needed for that feature are sent to Anthropic to produce a response. They are processed under Anthropic’s commercial terms, which do not allow them to be used to train Anthropic’s models.
- Please do not put passwords, keys or other secrets into chats, attachments or project descriptions.
Where your data is stored
- Your data is stored with our hosting providers and may be processed outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States (for example by Stripe and Anthropic).
- Where we transfer data internationally, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open, and deleted or anonymised within 90 days after you close it, except what we must keep.
- Orders, invoices and payout records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually 5–7 years).
- Project requests: until the request is fulfilled or closed, then up to 12 months. You can unsubscribe at any time from the email link.
- Server and security logs: normally up to 12 months.
Your rights
- Depending on where you live — including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU/UK GDPR — you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time.
- Email support@vibe96.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days and may need to confirm it is you.
- You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
- We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your bag and comparison list. The site does not work properly without them.
- A first-party visitor cookie (kept for one year) lets us count visits and, once you sign in, connect earlier visits from that browser to your account. It is never shared with advertisers.
- We use what you look at to order the home page rows and search results for you and to help Vee suggest projects. Two cookies help: the last projects you viewed (90 days) and the date of your last visit (180 days, for “new since your last visit”). To see the same rows as everyone, choose “Why these?” on the home page and switch it off — we then stop recording what you look at for this.
- Your browser also stores a few preferences on your own device, such as your comparison shortlist and preparation checklists.
- We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics that need consent, we will ask first.
Security
- We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted secrets and access controls, and we review our systems regularly.
- No system is completely secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
- Vibe96 is for businesses and adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
- We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site.
