About CarePoint: Clinic & Pharmacy Management with a Live Drug Safety Shield
CarePoint is a Laravel 13 (PHP 8.3) web app for private clinics and pharmacies, covering patient records, appointments with a live queue, consultations and prescriptions, clinic billing, a pharmacy point of sale, stock with batches and expiry, purchasing and reports. It supports SQLite or MySQL 8 and ships with four staff roles (admin, doctor, reception, pharmacist). A 'Safety Shield' checks medicine interactions on new prescriptions and feeds a patient/caregiver PWA opened through private, revocable links. AI features (scribe, suggestions) run on offline rules, with an optional LLM or speech-to-text provider configurable in the environment. Reminders go out via WhatsApp or SMS (Twilio or webhook gateway). The digest includes PHPUnit and Node e2e tests, CI, Docker, and setup and API docs. No standalone native mobile apps are shown; the patient and caregiver app is one PWA.
